I love the township of Warrandyte and its closeness to the Yarra River.

The Folk Art Shop always seems to cross the boundaries of history and a working business, selling things from all over the world that are popular with the many tourists. It always features in any early photos of Warrandyte and is the first thing that you see as you cross from Kangaroo Ground on the bridge.

There is so much history in Warrandyte with all of the old Gold mining areas, the National Parks and Wildlife, it is a lovely place to live.
I have lived here for twenty years and the area has still managed to keep that small historic town look.
